Yokosuka Animal Welfare Center: Elementary Students Learn Value of Life and Responsibility

At the Yokosuka City Animal Welfare Center in Uragocho-cho on July 31, a workshop used animal interaction to teach the importance of life and responsibility. Nine fourth- to sixth-grade students who live in the city participated and practiced tasks that staff perform. Organizers aimed to deepen children’s understanding of proper animal care and the responsibilities involved in keeping pets.
