Recognizing Diverse Views: Philosophical Dialogue at Ninomiya High School

Kanagawa Prefectural Ninomiya High School, led by Principal Kaoru Maruno, has introduced “philosophical dialogue” this school year to help students learn others’ thoughts and values through conversation. On July 22, 91 first-year students were split into groups to discuss and exchange perspectives. The program aims to foster mutual respect for diverse opinions and encourage reflective thinking among students.
