Eigo Tanaka, 22, a Chigasaki resident who competed at the 2024 Paris Paralympics and is targeting a medal at the 2028 Los Angeles Paralympics, has received a new “secret weapon”: a training aid handmade for him. The device was crafted by Oguri to address Tanaka’s specific training needs and support his preparation for the 2028 Games. The bespoke equipment is intended to refine his technique and give him a competitive edge as he continues his training in Chigasaki.
