Making Kugenuma’s Nature Measurable: SET x SFC Project

Residents and researchers from local company SET and Keio University’s SFC have launched a collaboration in the Kugenuma district of Fujisawa to visualize and measure the area’s natural and sensory values. The effort aims to move from subjective impressions of comfort and greenery to objective, measurable data to support sustainable housing and community development. The initiative will use local fieldwork and data-driven methods to document environmental qualities that contribute to livability, informing future planning and real-estate decisions.
