Festival Float Restored in Tori Town Ahead of Reitaisai

The dashi (festival float) from Tori Town was repaired with donations totaling ¥15,000,000 ahead of the Katase Suwa Shrine reitaisai, scheduled for the 23rd through the 28th. The float was presented on the 2nd, accompanied by lively taiko drumming. The float dates to 1927 and underwent extensive restoration to prepare it for this year’s festival.
