Chigasaki City, Japan Surfing Association sign comprehensive cooperation pact to boost local activity

On July 31, Chigasaki City concluded a comprehensive partnership with the public interest incorporated association Japan Surfing Association, the first such agreement between the federation and a municipal government. The pact centers on surfing but covers a wide range of collaborative areas aimed at invigorating the local community. The city plans to leverage the federation’s expertise to develop programs, events, and initiatives that support tourism, sports promotion, education, and coastal resource management.
