Six elementary and middle school students from the Kugenuma Ishigami swimming school A-Club Fujisawa passed the Kanto regional qualifiers on July 11 and 12 to move on to the 49th National JOC Junior Olympics. The swimmers, who train in artistic swimming, will compete at the national meet, aiming for top placements. Coaches praised the athletes’ teamwork and technical growth during regional competition, and the club said it will continue focused preparation for the national event.
