The 27th Chigasaki Peace Film Festival is scheduled for August 26 in Chigasaki. Since 1999 the festival has annually screened films on war and peace, and Yayoi Fukuda has served as representative of the festival executive committee from the first edition to the present. The festival continues its long-running effort to promote peace awareness through cinema.
