Nissan to End Production at Oppama Plant in Fiscal 2027, Transfer Output to Kyushu

Nissan announced on July 15 that it will end vehicle production at its Oppama plant in Yokosuka by the end of fiscal 2027 and transfer production to Kyushu.
Nissan Motor Co. said on July 15 that as part of its Re:Nissan restructuring plan it will cease vehicle production at its main Oppama plant in Natsushima-cho, Yokosuka City, by the end of fiscal 2027. The company said the move is part of a global review of production sites and that output will be shifted to its Kyushu plants. The decision is framed as a measure to streamline production under the broader corporate turnaround effort.
