Kugenuma Fushimi Inari Summer Festival to Run August 8, 9, 11

Kugenuma Fushimi Inari Shrine, known as the “Shonan Inari,” will stage a three-day summer festival on August 8 (Saturday), 9 (Sunday), and 11 (Tuesday), under chief priest Tamura Susumu. The evening of August 8 will open with a yoimiya ceremony at 6:00 p.m., followed by fireworks and dashi floats on August 9, and a mikoshi procession and ritual performances on August 11. The shrine is inviting local residents and visitors to participate in the events across the three days.
