Kugenuma Fushimi Inari Summer Festival to Run August 8, 9, 11

Kugenuma Fushimi Inari Shrine will hold its summer festival on August 8, 9, and 11 in Fujisawa, with mikoshi processions and other events.
Kugenuma Fushimi Inari Shrine, known as the “Shonan Inari,” will stage a three-day summer festival on August 8 (Saturday), 9 (Sunday), and 11 (Tuesday), under chief priest Tamura Susumu. The evening of August 8 will open with a yoimiya ceremony at 6:00 p.m., followed by fireworks and dashi floats on August 9, and a mikoshi procession and ritual performances on August 11. The shrine is inviting local residents and visitors to participate in the events across the three days.
