Kiyoshi Suzuki, a 72-year-old resident of Samukawa Town, has assumed the role of representative director and chairperson of JA Sagami, which serves seven cities and one town in central Kanagawa Prefecture. He said he will continue promoting the appeal of agriculture and work to create conditions that allow people to continue farming and pass it on to the next generation. JA Sagami conducts agricultural support as well as financial and mutual aid services in the region.
