The Kamakura Lions Club marked its 60th anniversary this year, and Watanabe Gunji assumed the role of chairman for the milestone year. Watanabe has belonged to the Lions for more than 25 years and is serving as chairman for the fourth time. For the commemorative year he chose the theme “Return to basics and serve with sincerity.”
