Shoutarou Sasaoka took office as president of the Innovation Gateway Shonan Rotary Club as the club entered its sixth year. He said the club will center its activities on town development tied to the planned Muraoka New Station (provisional name) and the Shonan Health Innovation Park, a research and development hub for health and medical care. The club aims to engage members mainly in their 40s and 50s in community service and regional revitalization projects.
