City holds public briefings on food-waste collection ahead of Hayama transfers

Zushi City will begin bringing food waste to the Hayama Town Clean Center starting in November, and is holding citizen briefings across the city on how to sort, collect, and recycle organic waste. A session took place on August 19 at the Zushi City Chamber of Commerce and Industry to explain the new separation rules and resource-recovery procedures. The briefings aim to inform residents about collection methods and the steps needed for proper food-waste recycling under the new arrangement.
