Solar-sharing power from Odawara Kanagote Farm begins supplying Yokohama College of Commerce campuses

Surplus electricity generated by solar-sharing panels at Odawara Kanagote Farm is now being supplied to all campuses of Yokohama College of Commerce through a partnership between GPP and UPDATER. The arrangement is presented as a Kanagawa-origin model of local production for local consumption of electricity and is intended to support decarbonization efforts at the educational institution. The project frames the farm’s renewable output as an advanced example of how regional renewable energy can assist schools in reaching 100% renewable electricity.
