Exhibition: The World of Picture-Book Author Sasameya Yuki (Aug 1–16)

The show introduces the work of picture-book author Sasameya Yuki, who lives in Kamakura. It runs from August 1 (Saturday) through August 16 (Sunday), open 9:00–17:00 with last admission 30 minutes before closing, at Kamakura Arts Center Gallery 2. A lecture titled “Japan’s Mother of Ballet: Elena Pavlova and Kamakura” is scheduled for August 9, and there will be several related events. Admission is 500 yen for adults and free for junior high school students and younger; inquiries to Kamakura Arts Center at 0467-48-5500.
